Integrity Business Solutions is a consulting firm established to help small to mid-sized companies improve the efficiency and quality of their financial and operational reporting through automation and process improvement. The Integrity team has over 75 years of combined experience in designing and managing financial reporting and accounting systems for senior management of entrepreneurial companies in the financial services, real estate, education and entertainment industries. Our primary focus is to help you leverage the value of our business intelligence tool (BI) by designing a solution that will work for you.
Although there are a variety of ways in which we assist our clients, we are focusing our attention on providing them with an affordable, but robust business intelligence software hosted in the cloud. Our solution is much less expensive to license and implement than Oracle BI, Cognos BI or SAP BI with 90% of the functionality of these large vendors. Data from multiple, disparate transactional systems (i.e. accounting, HR, CRM, loan origination software, student tracking systems, etc.) are pushed up into a secured data warehouse stored in a SAS 70 type II compliant environment. Data from these various systems now become available for reporting and analysis through our BI platform with very little, to no IT support.
We take a hands-on, results oriented approach on every engagement as we strive to ensure we are doing everything we can to contribute to your success. Our philosophy is to provide our clients with tools and systems that will get relevant, timely and accurate data into the hands of decision makers, in the most efficient manner possible. One of the most valuable commodities in a fiercely competitive market is ready access to salient information. In the past companies could govern their decisions by gut, feel or experience. However, in today’s environment, a lack of visibility into key performance indicators (KPI) can often result in missed opportunities or unnecessary expense.
We are interested in developing long lasting business relationships with our clients and establishing ourselves as trusted advisors. Most of the projects for which we are retained result in an ROI with a short payback period.
The Power of Clarity in Reporting
What we Can Do For You
Benefits of BI
Business Intelligence (BI) software was initially developed for large companies, giving them the ability to analyze and report on data stored in multiple transactional applications with one tool. Because of the huge license fees, obscene consulting contracts for implementation and the army of IT staff required to manage the software, smaller companies have been boxed out of the BI world.
The consultants at Integrity have sat in your seat and felt your pain. We understand the frustration of knowing what information you want to include on a report, but having to go to 3 to 5 different systems to retrieve the data. As a result, we looked for a BI solution that was functional, user friendly and affordable. We found it! We are hosting this software in the cloud and are able to offer you a very economical BI solution.
LogiXML is the company behind the BI application we are hosting in the cloud. For over 10 years they have been focused solely on developing the most comprehensive, agile end-to-end BI solution on the market. They have received outstanding reviews from independent industry analysts, praising the software for its quick deployment and ease of use. The software requires very little IT support, as it is primarily a business solution. Learn more about the company and its product at www.logixml.com.
Most small to mid-sized organizations have not considered BI because, up until now, it has been cost prohibitive. With very modest implementation costs and license fees as low as $60 per month per concurrent user, this powerful tool is now definitely affordable.

After graduating from Stanford University with an anthropology degree, Coburn furthered his education through accounting courses offered by UCLA's extension program. He worked at KPMG as an auditor, where he earned his CPA certificate. After leaving the Big 4 firm, he spent the next 15 years in the entertainment industry (post production) in roles of increasing levels of responsibility including Director of Finance. Coburn was responsible for SEC reporting, budgeting, forecasting, modeling strategic planning and cost reduction initiatives. In addition to his experience in the entertainment services industry,
Motivated by his passion to equip entrepreneurs with the information and tools needed to effectively compete, Bryan founded Integrity Business Solutions in 2008. Since graduating summa cum laude from California State University, Northridge with an accounting degree he has accumulated over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. Starting his career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen, Bryan left after receiving his CPA certificate and became the controller for Dick Clark Productions and assumed responsibilities for overseeing all accounting functions including SEC reporting.
After 11 years in the entertainment industry he was offered the CFO position at Oakmont Mortgage where he had to build the whole finance department and systems from scratch. As part of senior management, he helped navigate them through two very difficult industry cycles. As a result of Oakmont's success and the clear nature of its financial reporting, it was acquired by a private equity company. The new company (Ownit Mortgage Solutions) grew to 10 times its size within a year and as the VP Finance, Bryan was responsible for the accounting, treasury and interim servicing functions, ensuring that they scaled with the organization. After Ownit, he became the chief accounting officer for Prospect Mortgage and dramatically improved the timeliness, relevance and transparency of the monthly reporting package.
Having spent the last 25 years providing successful entrepreneurs with reports to help them make more informed decisions, Bryan has learned how to extract the salient information from the mountains of data and present it in a format that is easily digested.

He is an excellent communicator and works very well with all levels - from clerical to executive.
Coburn became a consultant in 2006 and has since been serving a wide range of clients. He has specialized in working with business owners to help them develop full scale business plans and functional financial models, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements. Coburn is the ideal resource for small to mid-sized companies looking for additional senior level support in their finance and accounting departments.
Don Janik
While Don Janik provides the strategic technical guidance, Integrity has teamed up with the consulting firm BravePoint. We needed "boots on the ground" technical resources to help our clients implement a BI solution that is tailored to their unique circumstances.
We chose BravePoint based on their BI expertise in general and specifically, their partnership with LogiXML. The BravePoint business intelligence team is comprised of seasoned business and technical professionals who have experience with high-profile organizations. Each member of their BI team brings with them a unique, expert skill set. This specialization allows BravePoint to analyze your unique needs and work with you to formulate a business intelligence strategy customized for your organization.
The fastest area of growth at BravePoint since 2007 has been in business intelligence related services. Economic volatility has forced great organizations to be nimble in their decision making in order to survive. Use of data is critical in this effort. In today's dynamic climate, utilizing data for only reporting and analysis is insufficient.

Don is an investor in Integrity Business Solutions' Business Intelligence offering and provides strategic guidance on all technical aspects pertaining to the cloud based platform. We leaned heavily upon Don's expertise when selecting the software and the architecture of the Web-based server.
Our primary focus in selecting the application we are hosting in the cloud was to provide a software that required minimal IT support. Don's extensive knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing technologies was invaluable in helping us find a tool that is both a highly functional and "self-service" BI solution.
Don has more than 25 years of experience in programming, systems architecture and development and content data management. He has a wide range of skills and technical qualifications including extensive knowledge of Oracle, XML , SaaS and Java. Although the software we have selected does not require rocket scientist, if it did, we would be covered. Don spent 8 years as a lead engineer for the maker of the rocket engines used by the space shuttle program, applying his artificial intelligence knowledge. He was the senior technical manager for Warner Music Groups executive decision support system (a proprietary business intelligence application) as well as the chief architect for Warners Global content data management.
Don has also worked for small and start-up companies, helping them take their new technologies to market. In fact, he even wrote his own software application and sold it to those responsible for organizing NCAA diving competitions.
Since our primary focus at Integrity Business Solutions is to help our clients improve their business performance measurement, we emphasize the value of business intelligence. However, there are several other services we provide for our clients. Integrity can do the following to help you:
